This is a commission I just finished. I see several things I need to change, but the client loved it and took it wet!
I'm bad at plaid, not patient enough, I think I'm going to get it back and change that and the younger guys face, I have it too thin. Oh, I see the mouth on the older guy is too thick. LOL

This is a painting I just did for a woman. This is not the finished one, I see there are things still unfinished. I need to transfer the file from my PC to my Mac.
I did another painting of a waterfall with a rainbow for her and took it to her without taking a good photo of it.

Hello, Happy New year!

I painted this little cafe scene yesterday. I was inspired by a great restaurant that I visited on Christmas vaca. It's located in Macomb, Illinois. It's called Il Spazio's. Superb coffee, deserts and main courses. The owner sat and visited with us. His name is Jeff. When I get his permission I will post his full name and more info about his place.

Horses were a big part of my life as a child. I guess that's why I paint them. We lived next to a horseshoeing school and a stable. I rode some but stopped when I saw someone get hurt. SOLD

I love painting things that remind me of my childhood. The iris were always such a big part of my life. My Mother had a beautiful Iris garden in her front lawn. When I painted this I thought of her so she got it for her 90th birthday present. My sister wants a copy and I'll probably be painting one for ebay.
